The True Professional was founded on a philosophy of excellence and a dedication to quality client service. The curriculum was designed to provide excellent service delivery to individuals with disabilities that they deserve and that is in accordance with state and federal government expectations and intentions.
The philosophy, referred to as The 5 CsTM™, represents the five pillars of quality service:
Client-Centered Approach
Continuous Engagement
Communication
Collaboration
Comportment
Program Overview: Process Flow
The True Professional supports the professional development of DSPs by providing a two day, in-person, hands-on workshop that combines elements of traditional instructional modules, real life scenarios for group discussions, and role playing.
The True Professional also conducts pre-workshop and post-workshop assessments on-site at the residences to baseline abilities and measure advances in skill competencies.
Following the live training, all participants will have access to the bespoke content we have developed on the 1Huddle app, which provides supplemental video scenarios followed by interactive games to reinforce the lessons from the workshop and promote participants’ continuous engagement with the content. These games fortify the hands-on learning concepts, as well as provide a library of other courses focused on wellness, financial literacy, and other areas of interest.

Program Overview: Our Impact
Our Data-Driven Approach drives client satisfaction. To validate its hypothesis that professionalizing DSPs increases the quality of services provided. TTP conducted a pilot with diverse residential service providers, across several homes which varied in size and client population, to assess effectiveness of, and stakeholder satisfaction with TTP’s program. The results were as follows:
DSPs demonstrated a marked change in performance in the delivery of high-quality services.
Those DSPs who were more in need of improvement demonstrated a greater increase in skill development.
DPSs who engaged with the mobile app influenced their peers to engage and showed greater increases in competency.
The course was effective despite variability in agencies, participants, and residents
Engaged managers were far more effective at leveraging TTP content and enhanced DSP performance
